MF Lightwave Products


MF Lightwave specializes in quick-turn order processing and is capable of delivering assemblies within 2 to 5 days upon receipt of order. Each cable is produced exactly to the engineer’s specifications, and our production staff provides the extensive quality control and order management required to produce project specific cable assemblies.

MFL’s manufacturing facility is managed to Telcordia, GR, IEC, EIA/TIA, and ISO standards. All products are inspected under 200x video magnification and test data is compiled and logged for each connector. Our proprietary polishing processes ensure quality end face measurements that exceed all industry standards for loss and reflectance.
 



 

TESTING

  • Visual and Mechanical Inspection per FOTP-13 per FOCIS
  • Attenuation per FOTP-171 with a measured Insertion Loss (IL) of UPC<.20 db and APC<.20 db
  • Return Loss per FOTP-107 with a measured Return Loss (RL) of UPC<-.55 db and APC<-.65 db

 

COMPONENT SPECIFICATIONS
 

  • Cable Products are to meet the following specifications as required:
    • GR-20-Core, GR-326-Core, GR-420-Core, ITU.T G.652 A, B, C, D and ITU.T G657A,B
  • Connectors and Connectorized asssemblies are to be compliant to:
    • GR-326-Core, TIA/EIA  PS-8085-06-02
  • IL, RL, and end face geometry measurements are available for all assemblies.


CONTRACT MANUFACTURING QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2008: Curtis Strauss, LLC performed Red Flag Testing for GR-326 compliance for SC/UPC, SC/APC, LC/UPC, and LC/APC cable assemblies.
  • 2010: Passed ISO and GR-326 compliance audit for third party contract manufacturing agreement.
  • 2011: Completed ANATEL certification for SC/UPC, SC/APC, LC/UPC, and LC/APC for joint venture agreement with Tyco Electronics.
